It looks like the nails are in the coffins for music venues this year. Live music means to be there and experience the good, the bad and the extraordinary. Either being in the audience, behind the mixing desk, backstage or even on stage. Feeble attempts of distancing band members, playing being plastic perspex and through the dead digital signal of a webcam all seem out of place and quite frankly sad.
We hope live music, whatever it may be or wherever it may returns as soon as possible. The orchestra underneath the stage in a London theater production, the dead pan teenage acoustic guitar player at the jam night, a rock band that requires flame throwers to keep the audience awake, the metal band who rely theatrics to get them through a tedious entire run through of one of their most hyped albums with an encore of so called 'hits', the girl with the sweetest songs, the band who perform their greatest show which will be there last show, the rappers who know nothing else but music, the folk group who play together for fun...
for everyone who feels music.
